Who we are/
Wer wir sind

The "International Association for Migration Studies" (IAMS) is registered as legal personality in Linz/D., Austria (Central Austrian Registry of Associations (ZVR-Reg.) no. 330456079). The association aims to promote scientific and interdisciplinary knowledge on migration at a regional, national Austrian, European, international, intercontinental and global level. For these purposes the association runs a publishing house for scientific studies in the field of migration, and provides an international journal (Journal of Migration & Integration Studies, ISSN 2305-6029) as forum for presentation and discussion of relevant theory and research. It also promotes public discourses on migration, and is vehicle for national and international research on migration issues.

Der "Internationale Verein für Migrationsstudien e.V." ist nach österreichischem Vereinsrecht in Linz/D., Österreich, registriert (Zentrales Vereinsregister (ZVR-Reg.) Nr. 330456079). Der Verein will wissenschaftlich fundiertes und interdisziplinäres Wissen über Migration auf allen Ebenen (regional, österreichisch national, europäisch, international, interkontinental und global) fördern und verbreiten. Zu diesen Zwecken betreibt der Verein einen eigenen Verlag, editiert eine internationale Zeitschrift (Zeitschrift für Migrations- und Integrationsstudien, ISSN 2305-6029), veranstaltet Diskussionen zu Migrationsfragen, und ist im Bedarfsfall auch Träger von Forschungsvorhaben zu nationalen und internationalen Migrationsthemen.

For different membership categories, ways of payment, and related membership rights, like free subscription of the E-journal "Journal of Migration & Integration Studies", or free download of the E-paper publications of the "International Migration Press", see the following membership informations below.

Für die Bezahlung einer Mitgliedschaft, für verschiedene Mitgliedschaftskategorien, sowie die damit verbunden Mitgliedschaftsrechte (wie Subskription des E-journals "Zeitschrift für Migrations- & Integrationsstudien", oder freiem Download der E-paper Publikationen des "Internationalen Verlags für Migrationsstudien", siehe die folgenden Informationen unten.

Personal Membership/

persönliche Einzelmitgliedschaft

Personal Membership can be acquired by E-mail as described above. Basic personal membership is free. Personal members are entitled to subscribe permanently to the Journal of Migration & Integration Studies, as well as to all E-paper downloads of online publications of the International Migration Press for a reduced fee of EUR 69,- per year,

Eine Einzelmitgliedschaft kann durch E-mail erworben werden (s.o.). Einfache Einzelmitgliedschaft ist kostenlos. Einzelmitglieder können gegen einen Beitrag von EUR 69,- pro Jahr die freie Subskription des Journal of Migration & Integration Studies sowie den freien Bezug aller E-paper Publikationen der International Migration Press erwerben.

Institutional Membership/

institutionelle Mitgliedschaft

Institutional Membership can be acquired by E-mail as described above, too. Institutional members have to pay EUR 200,- per year, which entitles the institutional member to subscribe permanently to the Journal of Migration & Integration Studies, as well as to all E-paper downloads of online publications of the International Migration Press.

Eine institutionelle Mitgliedschaft kann ebenfalls durch E-mail erworben werden, und kostet EUR 200,- pro Jahr definiert. Dies inkludiert die freie Subskription des Journal of Migration & Integration Studies sowie den freien Bezug aller E-paper Publikationen der International Migration Press via freiem Download.
